Moment John Mahama met Vice President Dr Bawumia Face-To-Face
Former President John Dramani Mahama and current ‘Audio’ Economic Expert and Vice President, Dr. Bawumia met face-to-face.
Two Ghanaian politicians, ex president of Ghana John Dramani Mahama and the Vice president of the incumbent New Patriotic Party, (NPP) Mahamudu Bawumia stumbled on each other head on.
The highly distinguished policy makers met at Dormaa where they went to attend a Durbar which aimed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the enstoolment of Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II as Dormaahene.
Former President John Mahama shared the photos on his Instagram account with the caption;
“I participated in the colourful durbar held in Dormaa to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the enstoolment of Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II as Dormaahene on Saturday.
We have a rich culture as Ghanaians.
The chiefs and people of the Dormaa Traditional Area showcased the richness of our culture to perfection in honor of their paramount chief.
I commended Osagyefo Agyeman Badu II, not only for continuing the legacies of his predecessor to bring peace and development to Dormaa but also, for his contributions towards the development of the Bono region as a whole.
In addition, I acknowledged the role of our traditional leaders and the impact they can have on the development of their chiefdoms.
Nana Dormaahene has been a friend and adviser to all our Presidents since the days of President Jerry Rawlings. I benefited from his wise counsel as well.”
It was an all smile day between them.
