World soccer star, Lionel Messi, is the latest strikingly acclaimed footballer to sadly react to Diego Maradona shocking death which took the football world by surprise.
Messi who is Maradona’s countryman has taken to his official IG page to mourn his idol with the below emotional message;
A very sad day for all Argentines and football, he is gone but he has not left us because Diego is Eternal. I cherish all the beautiful moments experienced with him and l want to take the opportunity to send my condolence to his family and friends. RIP”
The revered soccer legend died yesterday at aged 60 after suffering a heart attack.
