Popularly known in the radio world as Mummies Boy, the prince of Ghana’s modern radio’s real name is Nana Gyan Baffour. Due to his popularity, his real name is one that many find difficult to recall despite its frequent use in most online publications.

Nana Gyan Baffour was born on 20th July and he’s currently in his late twenties. He was born in Abuakwa; A big town in the Atwima Nwabiagya District of the Ashanti Region.

Educational Background

Talking of Education, Mummies Boy had both his basic and JHS education at Sunyani Police Experimental School and sat for the BECE in 2009.

He passed the BECE with flying colours and landed admission at Achrensua SHS where he had his secondary education and completed in 2014. In 2015, he did a year course in journalism at Ask Media.

Early 2019 also, he was admitted into Ghana Media School where he also did a year course in Journalism.

At the moment Nana Gyan Baffour is a student at Ghana Institute of Journalism.

Marital Life and Children

Although, Mummies Boy is a ladies man but he is not married yet neither does he has any children. He would be raising a family soon in the coming years.

Career

Mummies Boy’s journalism career began during his high school days at the Achrensua SHS where he learned he hosted entertainment programs and also MC’d many school events.

After secondary school, he sternly worked on polishing his craft through education and internships.

Awards and Honours

Nana Gyan Baffour has many awards and honours under his sleeves. Just last year, he was adjudged as the Radio Personality of the year at Ghana entertainment awards.

Because of his good works without faults and multi resourcefulness, Nana Gyan Baffour has been promoted to host Anigye Kwanso which is a drive time show on his mother FM station (Summer FM) 106.9 FM that airs from 3-6 PM on each week day i.e. Monday-Friday.
