Madam Amodzie who is currently 198 years old and from Subri in the Wassa East district of the Western Region has dropped some shocking facts and secrets about Ghana’s first prime minister – Dr Kwame Nkrumah.
Speaking on Onua TV with Captain Smart, she recounted how she helped Dr Kwame Nkrumah’s mother when she conceived because she was a native doctor back then.
The elderly woman also mentioned that she was the one who delivered traditional medications to Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s mother, Elizabeth Nyaniba when Nkrumah was still in his mother’s womb.
She further disclosed in the interview that she has 7 children and her last born is over 80 years.
Detailing her encounter with Nkrumah’s mother, Madam Amodzie stressed that she was way older than Nkrumah’s mother. She is a farmer and still farms at her age.
