Luck has found Amg star Medikal, as he emerged winner of this year’s 3Music Award Hiphop/Hiplife Act Of The Year category.
Medikal entered this year’s competition with high hopes of winning something, and luck has finally found the AMG star who now has three awards to his credit.
We recall that the artiste in a recent interview revealed he was going to cause “mayhem” if he does not win an award at the 3Music Awards.
“If I don’t win any award at 3Music Awards I will pull a Shatta Wale,” Medikal told Lexis bill on Drive Time.
In 2017, Medikal who had seven nominations yet failed to win none. He was tipped to win many awards, especially ‘New Artiste of the Year’ but to the surprise of many, he did not win even one of the seven categories he was nominated for.
Fast forward this year, the 3Music Awards has saved Medikal’s ass and has been crowned the new HipHop/Hiplife Act of The Year.
Many have attributed the ‘Omo Ada’ singer’s win to the influence his new girlfriend Fella Makafui has in life, as she promised Ghanaians earlier that her hubby was going to win something this time around.
