34 years old Ghanaian actress and movie producer, Yvonne Nelson has bluntly stated that marriage is not an achievement.
The actress who was responding to a male follower who was worried about the actress’s age and how she’s not been able to settle down with a man yet quizzed when she was ever going to get married.
He wrote; “Yvonnenelson won’t you marry you are getting old is this how being famous bring🙄😱”
However, the actress who did not just find the question offending also revealed what actually makes her happy is far from marriage which is less of an achievement to her.
In her response, she revealed that people marry only to please the very society that does not give a hoot about them.
“Marriage like i always say isn’t an achievement for me. Real love, kids, an education and happiness are! You cant tell me how to live my life. The SOCIETY you wanna please so much will kill you oneday. No one cares about you anyways. I’ll LIVE the way i want it. I can do the so called marriage when it feels RIGHT TO ME,” Yvonne in her response.
