Award-winning Ghanaian gospel diva, Obaapa Christy has slammed pastors who preach against makeups. According to the female gospel vocalist, those who do not know how to do makeups shouldn’t see it as evil.
Speaking in an interview on Accra FM with Nana Romeo, Obaapa Christy recounted how she was initially reprimanded severely by some Christians for putting on makeups but all those people now “paint’ their faces more than her.
According to her, makeups only enhances a person’s looks and has nothing to do with Satan as some pastors have asserted.
In the course of the on-air radio discussion, she also revealed that she’s her own makeups artist.
Comments under the video suggest that Obaapa Christy deliberately fired these shots at Diana Asamoah because she once publicly preached against the wearing of makeups but she now decorates her face with the things she spoke against
