VGMA 2020: Kuami Eugene wins artiste of the year category

Lynx Entertainment signee and lead act born Eugene Kwame Marfo but performs under the stage name Kuami Eugene. Has won the ultimate for this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Kuami Eugene had earlier won Highlife artiste of the year category before being crowned as the overall winner of the 21st edition of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Many music lovers and entertainment commentators had ticked Sarkodie to emerge as the winner for the topmost category of the whole award scheme.

But the Highlife sensation has swiftly bagged the award making him the king of Ghana music for the year in review 2020/2021.

This is the first time of winning this award and it certainly has skyrocketed music career and placed him above KiDi, Fameye, Kwesi Arthur and the new/young chaps.
