Kuami Eugene exposes Sarkodie big time

Lynx entertainment artiste, Kuami Eugene has exposed Ghana’s most-decorated rapper Sarkodie.

Sarkodie has been trending on various social media platforms after he firmly endorsed the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in a new song dubbed Happy Day.

The song featured reigning VGMA Artiste of the year, Kuami Eugene.

In the song, Sarkodie applauded Akuffo-Addo’s led government for their free SHS policy.

This came as a huge surprise to the Sarknatives, music lovers and Ghanaians at large since he’s not really known for poking his nose into political issues.

On the side of Kuami Eugene, social media users lambasted him for joining Sarkodie to endorse the 4more4Nana movement.

Reacting to netizens in an interview on 3FM with MzGee and monitored by Gossips24.com, he said Sarkodie never told him the song was politically motivated.

He said; Sarkodie only sent me the first verse of his rap which did not contain the endorsement for Nana Addo to aid me do the chorus, it was only at the video shoot that we got to know of the second verse, we confronted Sark’s management, and they denied…I am uncomfortable, I still don’t know Sarkodie’s motive for the song, it will have an effect on my career, I wasn’t ready to vouch for any political party openly.
