Newly crowned VGMA Artiste of the Year, Kuami Eugene has aired his disappointment in Sarkodie and Diana Hamilton for failing to congratulate him on his award.
During an interview on TV3 New Day as monitored by Gossips24.com on the morning of Tuesday, September 1, 2020, Kuami Eugene said three days after winning, the reigning artiste of the decade had not called him.
It has become a norm for competitors of a category to call the ultimate winner after an award show, and so, Kuami Eugene was expecting to hear from his senior colleague, but that has not happened to date.
Sounding a bit emotional while speaking via Zoom with MzGee on the show, Kuami Eugene, pointed to the fact that Kofi Kinaata is the only fierce competitor in the category who called to congratulate him.
“I have not heard from Sark, and not from Diana Hamilton, but Kofi Kinaata called me. Keche, Medikal, and others also called,” Eugene told MzGee.
