Sensational Ghanaian blogger and publicist Kobby Kyei, has finally break silence on his encounter with Shatta Wale’s photographer at an event that went viral online.
You will recall that about a month ago, reports flouted the internet indicating that Kobby Kyei had been slapped by Shatta Wale’s official photographer Awuku at Kofi Kinaata’s ‘Made in Taadi Concert’.
According to reports, the slap left Koby Kyei with bruises on his eye and some parts of his face including a damage to his eyeglass.
Finally, Kobby Kyei has reacted to the reports and for the fact did not deny reports of the incident.
But reacting to the incident, the blogger said he did not hit back instantly because he has a brand to protect.
“You guys heard the fact that Shatta Wale’s photographer slapped me. It was all over the news. The reason why I never reacted was my brand image identity.
At that moment when he slapped me, I was still standing. I could have retaliated but people will take pictures and it will be online forever. I have a 2-year-old baby girl and she will grow up to see it. If I go to the embassy, they will google my name,” he stated
According to Kobby, the level of respect individuals and cooperate entities had for him increased as a result of how prudently he handled the matter.
