A young kidnapper has been arrested alongside his gang members by vigilante members in Emohua local government area of Rivers state, after his charms failed him.
The kidnapper who reportedly terrorizes Umudioga community in the state, was arrested by ONELGA Security, Planning and Advisory Committee (OSPAC) in Rivers State, after his charms which were both tied round his neck and waist – failed him. A police officer and other victims were rescued by the vigilante members who engaged the kidnappers in a gun battle.
The suspect was accused of terrorizing the community by raping many ladies in the bush, robbing and kidnapping other victims. When interrogated, he revealed that the gang members always went on operation with their leaders identified as Akrekre and Oyeamuma. He is cooling off in police custody, as he is expected to be prosecuted after investigation.

Recall that few months ago also, the “most notorious kidnapper in Nigeria” Evans was arrested in Lagos. Evans was apprehended by the inspector-general of police intelligence response team led by Abba Kyari, an assistant commissioner of police. Kyari said the suspect was arrested at his residence in Magodo Estate, Lagos. The police had placed a N30 million bounty on Evans before his arrest
