According to John Mahama, the rationale behind the legalisation of okada is because many families depend on it and okada actually reduces the unemployment crisis the country is facing.

Reacting to these comments from the former president, Kennedy Agyapong has argued that legalizing the Okada business is a bad move.

As opined by Kennedy Agyapong, Okada business should never be legalized because it will make the operations of armed robber very easy.

Kennedy Agyapong further indicated that, armed robber will parade themselves as Okada riders and steal from passengers of the Okada.
