‘I am the King, you can never change that’ – Kelvynboy after losing Afrobeat award to DopeNation

Former Burniton Music Signee, Kelvin Brown, known by his stage name Kelvynboy has spewed a few words after walking out from the just ended VGMA.

Apparently, the “MEA” hitmaker who has consistently been promoting the Afrobeat genre was heart broken after losing the VGMA Afrobeat Song of the Year Award to DopeNation.

Kelvynboy’s “MEA” was dumped after DopeNation emerged winners of the category with “ZANKU”.

As a means of airing his displeasure, the musician walked out of the auditorium to attend to important business since he was of no use after losing the only thing he had campaigned for.

In a latest post, Kelvynboy stated that he is still the King of Afrobeat genre and losing at the VGMAs won’t change that fact.

Sharing a photo of himself, Kelvynboy wrote; “I watch, smile and laugh because they don’t know . THE KING IS HERE AND YOU CAN NEVER CHANGE THAT . #AFROBEATSBADMAN 🦍 #BLACKSTAR ★”
