In the early hours of Monday, June 6, 2022, news circulated that the vice president of Nigeria, Mr. Osinbajo was involved in an accident along the airport road in Abuja.
However, according to information gathered by us, Mr. Osinbajo and his security aides were joined by other Nigerians in removing the victims from the vehicle. A witness sent in a video from the scene, initially claiming that the vice president was involved in the crash.
The extent of the accident’s impact on the victims was not immediately evident.
Mr. Osinbajo’s spokesperson, Laolu Akande, confirmed that the vice president was on his way to Ondo for a condolence visit and that he had arrived.
