Yesterday marked the birthday of Award winning gospel musician, Empress Gifty Adorye, and there were goodwill messages from her fans and well wishers on social media.

However, this show of love was extended to a surprise birthday for the gospel musician.

The surprise birthday party was graced by her mother and other gospel musicians as well as friends in the industry.

Apparently, she didn’t have the slightest idea that her friends were going to throw a surprise birthday party for her.

The tears actually came down when her husband, Hopeson Adorye popped up.

It was a whole mood, with a mixture of happiness and sadness.
