Journalist who dropped Akufo-Addo’s alleged bribe video finally opens up

The notorious well-versed investigative journalist who dropped a wild video on the internet where the sitting president, Nana Addo Dankwa was recorded allegedly receiving bribe has finally opened-up on the expose.

According to Salis Yakubu who filmed the whole event, the meeting with the president was recorded in July 2017 and that he was there as a brother of Alhaji Abass, the Executive Director of the Urban Roads.

During a hot interview with Kevin Taylor, he asserted that the donation to Nana Akufo-Addo by Abass Awolu was made to buy his protection from the President.

He further admitted that in his bid to avoid being fired, Alhaji Abass, who sponsored the NPP’s campaign in 2016 paid monies to some intermediaries, with an assurance to get him to the president but they never honoured their promise.

Salis avowed hat he took the recording as an insurance policy on the blind side of Alhaji Abass so that in the event the President wanted to fire him, he will use it to blackmail him.

Dr Baffour Adjei Bawuah has also been accused of receiving GH¢10,000 for lading them to the presidency.
