John Mahama conspicuously missing at Ghana’s 63rd Independence day celebration (Photo)

The 63rd independence day celebration is currently underway at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

The event has been taken to the Ashanti Region capital of Kumasi for the first time.

In attendance is His Royal Mejesty, Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

Trinidad & Tobago Prime Minister Dr. Keith Christopher Rowley is the Guest of Honour.

Special seats were reserved for all three living former presidents of the country but only John Agyekum Kufuor made it to the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

Conspicuously missing from the Independence Day Celebration ground are former President Jerry John Rawlings and John Dramani Mahama.
