NPP’s general secretary, Mr John Boadu, has called out John Mahama for tarnishing the image of Ghana to the international world over his refusal to concede defeat in the just ended presidential elections.

According to the NPP stalwart, former president John Mahama has adopted the infamous trait of America’s Donald Trump who is also aggressively fighting over the US’ November 3rd elections.
Pressing on, Mr John Boadu further contended that John Mahama’s refusal to concede defeat in the just-ended polls is part of his “selfish” grand tactics employed to subscribe his face and name in the minds of NDC supporters whiles perpetuating himself as the party’s best candidate for 2024s elections.
Why didn’t John Mahama take immediate lessons from Donald Trump? He lost elections, the Electoral College was 270, the one you contested won, still he said he won’t concede.
That is exactly what Mahama is doing. You are becoming Ghana’s, Donald Trump.
He is refusing to concede because he wants to contest in 2024 so it is in his interest to claim he’s been cheated so as to save face and forestall a situation whereby the NDC may have to replace him. So, that is his game plan. He thinks he deserves the presidency after polling 47% of the votes as if it is his personal property
