“John Mahama has promised to buy a golden coffin to be used to bury my mother” – Bukom Banku reveals

Bukom Banku who is currently mourning the death of his beloved mother has exclusively revealed that former president John Mahama has promised to buy a golden coffin that will be used in the burial of his late mother.

According to Bukom Banku, the NDC‘s figurehead made this promise after he officially called him on the phone to announce his mother’s death to him.

During an interview with SVTV Africa, he also disclosed that he won’t be spending even a penny on his mother’s death because his godfathers have pledged to take charge of all the monetary aspects of the funeral.

In his own words;

I told Mahama that I want a golden coffin for my mother’s funeral. I will not spend [any money] on this funeral because my fathers are there

The comic boxer also added that he’ll do his possible best to make sure that the funeral of his late mother is being held in Accra because as we all know he’s a very popular in the Nation’s capital.

Bukom Banku’s mother was reported dead on the 20th of May after succumbing to a short illness.
