John Dumelo ‘throws the bible away’, says men and women should be allowed to marry more than one
Ghanaian actor turned politician, John Dumelo has argued that both men and women should be allowed to marry more than one.
The NDC parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso constituency, John Dumelo has given his full backing to calls from Counselor Lutterodt and musician Stella Seal that men should be allowed to marry more wives.
In a recent interview monitored by Gossips24.com, Mr. Dumelo stated that even though he would not practice it, he thinks those who want to have more wives are at liberty to do that.
Personally, I don’t believe in it [polygamy] but I feel that there is nothing wrong with it. If the Muslims are doing it perfectly, why not Christians? Provided you can take care of your two or three wives, that’s fine. I speak to a lot of Muslims and both the men and women are okay with it,” he said.
He also added that “…I feel it [polygamy] is good for Ghana.
It didn’t end there, Gossips24.com also chanced on statements this morning via his social media pages.
Though MR Dumelo was quick enough to delete the post, our sharp eyes got hold of the post before he swerved the public.
