Movie actor John Dumelo aspired in last year’s general elections to stand as a parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso constituency but failed to win. His defeat came as a shock because of his relentless efforts to help the youth in his constituency.
In the latest development, however, the actor turned politician seems to have put pride aside and congratulated the Members of Parliament who won on the ticket of the NDC.
Many people thought that Mr. Dumelo will be bitter about his loss but on the contrary, he showed the public that he is a man of high integrity and sportsmanship.
In the latest tweet by John Dumelo, he congratulated and stated that he was proud of the NDC members of parliament for their sweet victory.
