The drama trailing the death of Ghana’s former president, Jerry John Rawlings seems far from over as another mystery child of his who claims to be a 50-year-old man from Nkoranza by name Akwasi Aboagye to claim National glory and recognition.
According to this supposed son of J.J Rawlings, he questioned his mother when he was a kid about his father’s identity since he grew up without a father around him and his mom told him Jerry John Rawlings was his dad.
Akwasi Aboagye further added that, although he and his family did not approach Rawlings to identify himself as his son, Rawlings personally knew that he had a son at Nkoranza.
The 50-year-old man additionally claimed that said when the former first lady and wife of Rawlings- Nana Kinadu Agyemang Rawlings got to know about his existence, she sent soldiers to kill him.
At the moment, three fully grown adults claim to be the deserted and unknown children of J.J Rawlings.
First, it was Abiagail Mawutor Rawlings, then Kate Yeboah and now Akwasi Aboagye.
