Ghanaian actor turned politician, John Dumelo has vowed not to give up even if he loses the Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary seat.
Speaking on Kasapa Fm, John Dumelo cited Late Professor John Evans Atta Mills and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as an example that these great politicians didn’t give up when they fail to win couple of times.
The father of one stated that his defeat will give him more experience to re-strategize for the next election. “If you look at the Late Former President John Evans Atta Mills, he lost two times before he won finally. The current President, Akufo Addo, lost two times and won on the third time”.
“The fact that you loose am election does not mean you should give up. You have to keep trying and learn from your mistakes and eventually victory will be yours,” he added.
John Dumelo became an aspiring Parliamentary Candidate ahead of 2020 general elections on the ticket of National Democratic Congress after winning massively with 758 votes while his opponent, Madam Adoboe had 99 votes.
