“I would have still made it without the support of Ghanaians” – “Arrogant” Sarkodie tells in latest interview (Video)

Sarkodie is very arrogant and ungrateful and no one can tell me otherwise. This same Sarkodie who has enjoyed more mileage from the media and Ghanaians at large now claims that he would have still made it to the top with the support of his motherland.

According to Sarkodie, he feels that his success was built on his personal perseverance and commitment to work hard regardless of public backing.

The most decorated African rapper of all time further stressed that he will not rule out the possibility of receiving support from Ghanaians, but he believes he earned it through hard work.

Speaking in an interview with One Play Africa, he said;

When people say it is Ghanaians who made you who you are, I don’t deny it. Funnily enough, I wouldn’t have quit either.

I do this not because i get all the support. There are a lot of people who do not support me or like what I do. When Ghanaians say they have been supporting for 10 years, it is not.

Just last week, Sarkodie came under public pressure and backlash after he said on Nigeria’s BEAT FM that Ghanaians don’t cherish him.
