The Self acclaimed Dancehall King Shatta Wale has announced he will no longer be part of the Ghana Music Awards henceforth.
The controversial dancehall artiste took to his social media handles and broke the news same time the organizers of the event, Charterhouse are in a press conference discussing the VGMA fracas.

Upon sober reflections of events in recent times and having made broader consultations, I wish to announce that I will not be part of the Ghana Music Awards scheme going forward. God bless!
Charterhouse are currently holding a press conference to discuss what happened between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy at the 20th Edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
The organizers will also announce the winners of the Artiste and Popular song of the year at the conference.
Meanwhile, the two dancehall artistes have been suspended Indefinitely by the board and have been stripped off all awards won at the 2019 VGMA.
