Stonebwoy And I Will Not Return The VGMA Awards – Shatta Wale declares (video)

Ghana’s dancehall King, Shatta Wale has declared himself and Stonebwoy are not going to play by the rules of Charterhouse.

Charterhouse, on May 23, 2019, through a press release passed a verdict on the misconduct of both Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy at the VGMA awards.

Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale, according to the release, were stripped of all the awards they won at the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

The artistes were to return all plaques in their possession won at the 2019 VGMA to Charterhouse as soon as possible.

However, George Quaye in an interview revealed both artistes haven’t returned the plaques as mandated of them, and Shatta Wale has just revealed the ‘return’ is not coming on as expected.

Gossips24.com monitored the dancehall artiste’s interview with Happy FM’s DJ Advicer, He disclosed that he hasn’t returned any VGMA plaque and would never return them to Charterhouse.

“I Never Had The Chance To Hold My Awards So I Don’t Think I Will Be Returning Something I Didn’t Hold. Moreover, I Don’t Know Where And Who Took The Awards”.

He continued that Stonebwoy will also not return the plaques he also has in this possession because the fans voted for them to win on the night and they are going to maintain that.

Aside that, Stonebwoy Or I will never return the plaques because it’s something the Fans worked very hard for, and so both of us, i.e. Stonebwoy and I have to defend it. Charterhouse should forget it, we are not returning anything.
