Rufftown Records signee, Fantana is still not cool with Wendy Shay, and that is evident in all her actions, till date, she still doesn’t give Wendy that respect.
We all know after the demise of Rufftown Records’ darling girl, Ebony, Ghanaians were deeply hurt, the label was hit by a storm, which nearly saw it collapse.
It took the emergence and strength of Wendy Shay to give Rufftown Records a place in the hearts of Ghanaians.
On record, no artiste, after Ebony’s demise, was able to fly high the flag of Rufftown Records until Wendy Shay came into the picture.
Well, Fantana in an interview with Dr Pounds on Hitz Gallery on Hitz Fm denied the fact that Wendy Shay resurrected Rufftown Records.
According to her, there is no way she would agree with anyone claiming that Wendy Shay opened the door for her in the music industry.
In her view, she opened her own doors with hard work and determination.
She said;
“Ebony opened the door for us; the Late Ebony opened the Rufftown Records door for everyone. Wendy Shay didn’t open any door for me”
