“I will choose fame over money” – Nana Ampadu

Old-hand Ghanaian Highlife and folklore musician, Nana Amapadu has publicly disclosed that he will choose fame over money on any given day.

According to the prolific songwriter and composer, his reputation is more important to him than money so he will guard it will all his heart rather than to be rich and ill-famed.

He made these revelations during an interview on Happy FM.

When asked why he chose fame over money, he said; “I’m not rich. Unfortunately for me, God didn’t bless me with riches but with fame..”

He added that even his children are proud and happy to have him as a father because his name and reputation is still intact.

At the mention of my name as their father, some people sometimes give them gifts. If I was rich, proud and arrogant, I doubt people will do all these things for them
