I Sold My House To Finance My Political Campaign – NDC’s Sam Geroge Reveals

Member of parliament for Ningo Prampram constituency – Honourable Sam Geroge has shared a throwback of how he funded his political campaign during 2016’s presidential and parliamentarian elections.

In the course of an interview with Adakabre Frimpong Manso on Accra based radio station (Neat FM) , the NDC staunch member revealed that; he had to sell his house to finance his political campaign.

According to Sam Geroge, he was in a state of dilemma but selling his house was the best option he had to choose during that period in order to keep his political ambitions alive.

I had to move to my parents house, my wife was pregnant – i had to sell my house to fund that campaign because nobody was going to give me money, nobody believed i will win that primaries. My wife told me; Kwabena if you do this and we lose don’t come home” Sam Geroge stated

Sam Geroge defeated the incumbet E.T Mensah to represent the NDC party in the 2016 parliamentarian elections for Ningo Prampram.
