“I saved the female scene from dying 2 years ago when Ebony left” – Wendy Shay

Award-winning Ghanaian songstress, Wendy Addo, widely known as Wendy Shay, has revealed she is the sole saved the female scene in Ghana music from dying.

The female musician has been silent for a while now, Many believe Wendy is going through some hard times, but that won’t prevent her from bragging once a while.

According to Wendy Shay in a recent tweet, she was the one who revived the female scene in Ghana music from dying after the sudden demise of Ebony two years ago.

She said even though Ghanaians did not want to accept her, she had to force her way in and do what she knows how to do best.

Taking to twitter to introduce the latest Rufftown Records signee, Wendy wrote; “I saved the female scene from dying 2 years ago when Bony left (RIP) they didn’t wanna open the door for Me, but I opened it By Force !With God @kikimarleylive welcome to rufftowm Records GIRL POWER Girl come and do your thing cos u got it”
