I pray I don’t fall in their trap – Kuami Eugene opens up on fading out

Lynx Entertainment frontliner Kuami Eugene has shared his worries concerning his music career.

The singer made an emotional statement about him falling out of the music industry during a brief conversation with Hitz FM’s Andy Dosty.

Kuami Eugene posited that his fears and nightmares are that he will be forgotten by the same Ghanaians who have hailed him since he burst into mainstream after a period of time.

The self-acclaimed ‘Rockstar’ stated that he could be a victim to the trap Ghanaians set for musicians who make hits and after about three years are relegated to the background.

“The number of artistes who remain on the scene is way less than those whose music we no longer play. There are many top acts who we don’t recognise anymore. They came in, blew and after three years, we make it appear as though they’ve wronged Ghanaians,”

“That’s the only thing that shakes me and I pray I don’t fall in that trap,”
Kuami disclosed.
