I lived in Ghana and learnt Ghana music – Rema (video)

Nigerian singer and rapper, Divine Ikubor, known professionally as Rema has revealed he learnt a lot from Ghana during his stay here.

It was until Rema’s interview with Manny Norte on Capital Xtra that the world got to know that he actually learnt his craft from Ghana.

Speaking in the said interview, Rema revealed he lived in Ghana for a while and learnt a lot from Ghana music because he was actually introduced to Ghana music.

“Yeah, I lived in Ghana. I learnt a lot from Ghana, even Ghanaian music and stuff. I was opened to Ghanaian music,” he told Manny Norte.

He also added how grateful he was for meeting Sarkodie for the first time in the UK. He couldn’t go a minute without eulogizing the greatest rapper in Africa.

The 19-year-old singer is known for his hit song DUMEBI. He has won the Headies Award for Next Rated, and City People Music Award for Revelation of the Year.
