Once hailed “the new Sarkodie” – Awal Mohammed has confessed in an interview that he never dissed his mentor Sarkodie in any of his songs.
We recall that Awal Mohammed who shot to fame after performing with Sarkodie at Talented Kids and working together on few projects later released a song dubbed ‘Appreciation”.
Listeners and online portals deciphered Awals’s song to be a diss to multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie. This came after the sarkcess music boss had signed Strongman to the label.
In an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, Awal Mohammed revealed that he never dissed Sarkodie.
He denied ever writing a diss song to Sarkodie, according to him he is very grateful to the rapper and has no intentions of paying him with ingratitude.
“He paid my fees and also helped me with petty petty stuffs so I also give him the credit for doing the good work. Sark and I are cool. I have sent him a song which he is working on his verse and we are looking forward to releasing that song even.”

He concluded that whenever he drops a freestyle, the bloggers pick it and make news out of it.
