I Had Wanted To Be A Soldier When Growing Up – Kwesi Arthur

Dreams do come through, but not in Ghana. A lot of dreams have been shuttered due to poverty and other factors in Ghana, which is the same case for Ghanaian rapper Emmanuel Kwesi Danso, popularly known as Kwesi Arthur.

When asked what he wanted to become since he was a child, the ‘Celebrate’ crooner revealed that he always thought of becoming a soldier and even told his teachers whenever they asked.

However, since coming to fame with his hit song ‘Gribd Day Remix’ around 2017, he has become a chronic hitmaker, which makes him one of the most successful and consistent rappers from 2017 to date.

In the same interview, he revealed that last year he almost drowned in the sea and that he is not willing to go to the seaside alone again in his life.
