King Promise. whose soothing voice made it very easy for him to penetrate into the mainstream media has revealed that he doesn’t ‘value’ awards that much unlike his compeers in the industry.
According to King Promise, he’s not worried if his works don’t receive recognition form the various awarding bodies.
The ‘Sisa’ hitmaker indicated that he would have been broken by now if he paid attention to awards as he has been mostly snubbed by Awards schemes on several occasions
In the course of an exclusive interview with Andy Dosty earlier this morning on HITZ FM, he said
The mentality from the inception has been not to acre about awards.I would have been broken by now if I paid attention to awards.
Whiles speaking in the curse of the interview, he also added that his prime focus is to make his fans happy and also generate revenue from his craft
He further bragged about how ‘s he’s more than enough money streams, shows and ambassadorial deals.
I am the most-streamed Ghanaian artiste of all time. I am making my money from streams, shows and deals. Not winning awards do not get to me that much
