I don’t understand the Ga words King Promise used in my “can’t let you go” song – Sarkodie

Popular rapper Sarkodie has revealed that he does not understand the Ga verses in his ‘Can’t Let You Go’ song.

According to the rapper, the Ga verses that King Promise sang in his ‘Can’t Let You Go’ song are words he does not understand.

The ‘Gboza’ hitmaker made the revelation during his recent performance at the Standard Chartered Bank concert to launch their SC Mobile app.

When Sarkodie was performing his hit single ‘Can’t Let You Go’, he asked the audience to help him sing the Ga verses.

Sarkodie after asking the audience to help him sing the Ga verses that King Promise sang on the song disclosed that he does not understand what the words meant.

“Do you know I don’t understand what that means,” he told the fans when they got to King promise’s verse.

Even though many people believed Sarkodie may not understand the Ga dialect, it was surprising that he did not understand the verses. Many quizzed that even if Sarkodie does not understand Ga, he could have asked King Promise to tell him the meaning of the Ga verses.

Meanwhile ‘Can’t Let You Go’ featuring King Promise has been one of Sarkodie’s top songs in 2018.

The music was regarded as the official song for Sarkodie’s marriage with his longtime girlfriend Tracy since their wedding ceremony was used for the music video.
