Ghanaian rapper, Joey B has said despite the fact that he believes in God very much, the attitude of his church members forced him out of church.
Joey B in a recent interview on Joy Fm with Lexis Bill revealed that selfies forced him to stop going to church.
According to the UxMe hit maker, some fans take advantage of his presence at church to ask for photos and perhaps autographs which becomes annoying because despite satisfying them, they always come in their numbers for more after church.
He told Lexis Bill that this makes him lose focus in church and for this reason, he has stopped going to church entirely.
He said:
I Don’t Go To Church Because People Worry Me With Pictures; People Would Come And After We Take Pictures, They Would Say This One Is Not Nice, We Should Take Another One. I Kinda Lose Focus When I Go To Church Because Of This Attitude And So I Stopped Attending Church.
He also revealed he’s a firm believer of prayers and reads the Bible a lot.
