‘I don’t give my husband chop money; I don’t control him’ – Selly Galley

Ghanaian model cum actress, Selorm Galley-Fiawoo, popularly known as Selly Galley has ruled out claims that she controls her husband.

There have been several claims that Praye Tiatia, husband of the actress, has been out of his place in the marriage as the man of the house.

Rumours suggested Selly is now the ‘man’ of the house since her husband has not been active in the music business for some time now. She gives him chop money and for that matter controls him like her handbag.

Contrary to the rumours, Selly in an interview with Nana Romeo on Ayeeko Ayeeko on Accra100.5FM said her husband makes his own money, therefore, she cannot control him.

“My husband makes his own money, I make my own money. Together we’re a powerful team and he has a lot of other businesses he does besides music. He’s into rice farming, it’s a family business.

His father of blessed memory was a contractor, he was, in fact, the engineer [who worked] on the motorway – Aflao stretch…There’re contracts he executes and all that, so he has his own money and he just bought me a new car with his own money,”
