“I can pray at home, I won’t go to church” – Actress Christiana Awuni
Veteran Ghanaian actress, Christiana Awuni has revealed she has stopped going to church!
“Your body is the temple of Christ”, as cited in the good book of Christians … this makes Christiana Awuni believe she can pray at home and God will equally listen to her.
The renowned actress in an interview with Abeiku Santana on UTV’s Atuu Show revealed she has stopped going to church or worshipping God in a temple but rather does so anywhere and everywhere once the moment is right.
She said, though Rev Obofour gave her a brand new car for her immense contribution to the movie industry in Ghana, it does not mean she has to go to his church.
She stated that she’s forever grateful to Obofour and does not see why she should attend his church because of a token.
Christiana Awuni added that she hasn’t dumped her faith, and praying at home does not make her less of a Christian.
In her senses, God is the only one and true judge, hence will not do anything to please her fellow man, not even when she is dead – she does not need the blessings of any pastor during her burial!
