Ghanaian veteran gospel singer and worshipper Evangelist Diana Asamoah has finally revealed why she is still unmarried although she is ageing.
The ‘Agya ma wo nsa nso’ crooner in a yet-to-be aired interview on the Delay show shockingly revealed why she is still unmarried.
Although the gospel songstress may be in her forties and her biological clock is ticking, Diana Asamoah told Delay that she is not interested in marriage but she is much interested in preaching the word of God to people.
According to her, she prefers to worship the Lord, stay single and preach the word of God to people across the world.
Evangelist Diana Asamoah further stated that at the right time she will get married in an unthinkable manner.
” I’m not interested in marriage. What I am interested in now is to evangelise to people across the globe. What is important in this world is to inherit the Kingdom of God and do His will. If you worship God wholeheartedly, you can be 100 years and get married to a 12 years boy. Whatever you want God can grant it to you” Evangelist Asamoah disclosed.
The Gospel singer further stated that when she sees some women ‘losing their heads’ over marriage she concludes that they did not seek first the Kingdom of God but rather focused on the worldly pleasures.
According to Evangelist Diana Asamoah God should be first in your life before anything else.
“For every human being, God should be first in your life” She affirmed.
The Ghanaian society’s love for marriage and childbirth often puts pressure on women to make wrong decisions that they later regret but Evangelist Diana Asamoah is unperturbed by the societal pressure to marry as she waits on God’s own appointed time.
It could be recalled that the ‘Akoko Abon’ singer revealed that although she gets numerous love proposals from men she is still waiting on the Lord to take the right decision.
