I begged Okyeame Kwame for forgiveness after ‘Kasiebo’ diss – Obrafour

Ghanaian Hiplife Legend Obrafour has disclosed that he patched things up with the Ghana’s rap doctor Okyeame Kwame after his ‘Kasiebo’ song was released.

The ace rapper speaking to Andy Dosty on Hitz FM recounted that immediately after releasing his misperceived ‘diss’ song ‘Kasiebo’ which featured Guru, he made an approach to Okyeame Kwame to apologize to him.

According to the ‘Pae Mu Kae’ star, he took that action because a lot of people took the lyrics of his ‘Kasiebo’ song out of context and taught it was derogatory.

“Look at the creativity that came with the song but unfortunately it came with controversies,” he stated.

Obrafour admitted that following the release of his song, a lot of controversies emerge out of the song and he felt it was his responsibility to correct the damage caused.

One of the lines in Obrafour song read; Best rapper alive yet cannot boast of five albums’ and this was what started the tension between Obrafour and Okyeame Kwame as the latter did not take it lightly.

In Obrafour’s submission, his relationship with Okyeame Kwame has seen a positive lift in the past years although he can say they are not the best of friends.

“I can’t really tell you its cosy and cool and all that but we are friends. I mean when we meet, we’re good,” he added.
