VGMA Reggae-Dancehall artiste of the year, Stonebwoy has revealed he is the true inventor of Afrodancehall genre of music.
Most people have argued from time-to-time that Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale and the likes are not pure dancehall artistes.
One Ghanaian artiste who has echoed this argument is Kelvynboy who claims the two leading ‘dancehall artistes’ are doing ‘Afrodancehall’ which is a fusion of Afrobeat and Dancehall.
Well, Stonebwoy has subtly admitted that he actually does Afrodancehall as he celebrates 10 years of championing the genre.
According to him, he has stood for the genre which fuses African rhythm and Dancehall – Afrodancehall, since 2009 which makes it exactly 10years.
He also added via a tweet that he has won honours like BET 2015 Best International Act: Africa category with his invention.
