Former HIV AIDS ambassador, Joyce Mensah Dzidzor has justified why she was seen in a video begging for money to build the national cathedral.
Joyce Mensah Dzidor recently became the talk of town after a video of her begging for money in a train went viral on social media.
Many tagged the idea behind the video to be one that seeks to mock the president’s dream of building a national cathedral.
Others also questioned the mental stability of the former aids ambassador.
In the said video, the former AIDS ambassador begged passengers for 100, 80, and 50 euros respectively, she also sighted couple of problems Ghana is facing as a country but we have neglected that and focused on building a national cathedral.
Explaining her reason for this stunt, Joyce Mensah Dzidzor cleared the air that what the public saw wasn’t a movie as suggested by a few.
In an interview with NEWS ONE, Joyce Mensah Dzidzor to unveil the rationale behind the video, she said; “I wasn’t really doing that for money. It’s not a movie either. I am only a concerned citizen.“
