Hiplife musician Martin King Arthur popularly known in showbiz as Kofi Kinaata has stated that he is one of the top 5 rappers in Ghana.
According to Kofi Kinaata, he takes his time write the songs in order to make it one of a kind.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Ama McBrown on the McBrown’s kitchen show, the ‘Things fall apart’ hitmaker said that when you don’t mention his name among the best Ghanaian rappers, then you have to check again because he believes he’s good.
“I’m part of the first five best Ghanaian rappers,” he said.
I am the type that ask a lot of questions and since I can’t go to Parliament to ask these questions, I end up using them as lyrics for my songs”.
Speaking on awards, Kinaata said he didn’t write his current song “things fall apart” with the intention of winning awards.
“I just did the song because that’s how I can easily communicate what is in my heart. Winning ” Songwriter of the Year” award will be a bonus. I just wanted to do a song that would address issues and as long as people love it, I’m okay,” he added.
He also added that the song was made for us to question ourselves because we all call ourselves believers yet we don’t do what is right.
