Stonebwoy’s manager, Blakk Cedi has admitted that all is not well in Burniton Music Group but things will be settled with time, as brothers always do.
It is often normal for brothers, friends, colleagues, and business partners to have misunderstandings but to go their separate ways is quite disheartening on the side of their followers.
Well, the case of Stonebwoy and Blakk Cedi is no different from the misunderstanding between brothers as the two are known to have come a long way, which we believe their differences will be solved soon.
In the meantime, lets share with you some of the gossips that we have chanced on and believe is the reason why Stonebwoy and Blakk Cedi aren’t cool.
According to rumours, Blakk Cedi pulled a deal which has hurt Stonebwoy to the core. To the details, OV, winner of MTN Hitmaker season 7, has been rumoured to be one of the reasons why Stone is mad at Blakk Cedi.
Simply put, Blakk Cedi allegedly signed OV onto his own label, Black Arm label, instead of being signed onto Burniton Music by Stonebwoy. The two – Stonebwoy and Blakk Cedi – according to the rumor, had discussed OV’s future since she had a year contract with MTN Hitmaker which Burniton Music was going to sign her after her deal with MTN was over.
Well, OV’s deal was over, but Blakk Cedi, according to the gossip, failed to inform Stonebwoy, rather, went ahead to sign OV, not onto Burniton but onto Black Arm – a record label believed to be owned by Cedi.
The feud popped up when a Ayisha Modi who discovered OV told Stonebwoy about the scrapy deal which had gone down between OV and Blakk Cedi.
Also, we hear Blakk Cedi chopped OV’s hitmaker cash which Stonebwoy had asked him to use to brighten the female singer’s career.
However, Blakk Cedi upon hearing the news on-air rebutted the reports stating none of the allegations levelled against him are true.
