Accra’s Evening Mayor, Maximus Mensah, known as Dr. Pounds, revealed that per his observations, Ghanaian songstress Jackline Acheampong, better known as Gyakie, sounds just like highlife legend Bisa Kdei.
However, this could be the first time someone has publicly come out to make such an assertion. However, it may not be news if they really sound similar because even Gykie’s first hit was made possible by Bisa Kdei.
Sergio Manucho, speaking on the same entertainment segment with Dr. Pounds on Hitz FM, said Gyakie’s ghost writer is Bisa Kdei, so it’s no news if they sound similar.
“She sounds like Bisa Kdei,” Dr. Pounds said. Sergio Manucho said Gyakie is not that loud when singing.
