Budding Ghanaian promising female vocalist, Gyakie, has swiftly slammed tweeps who launched a campaign on the microblogging platform to compare her to legendary Ghanaian diva, Efya.
earlier today’s morning, there was a poll on Twitter which seeked to compare and contrast the vocal dexterity and prowess of these two amazing singers.
Gyakie who came across this needless comparison immediately took to her Twitter wall to rubbish the polls.
According to her, Efya is miles ahead of her – careerwise – because he is amongst the top female cats who paved the way for new crops of her sort.
She wrote;
Artists like Efya and all the ones before me paved the way for some of us to be where we are. The National Agenda should be the focus. Let’s try as much as possible to make love and positive energy lead us. Enjoy good music and support Ghana
Just after some hours of sharing the above tweet, she came back again and tweeted that comparison is a thief of joy and progress.
