Cat and Dogs are a delicacy of most people in the northern and Volta parts of Ghana but a recent petition pending approval has revealed that the delicacy of most people would be banned soon.
According to reports, there has been some health concern with the eating of the animals who are supposed to treat as companions but have been turned into meat for people who feel they taste good.
Natasha Choolun who happens to be an International Animal Rights Activist is said to have presented a petition to the government on the killing and eating of cats and dogs.
According to Natasha, the eating of dogs and cats are very risky as it can cause people to contract sickness like cholera Rabies and other deadly diseases from the consumption of these animals.
