“Ghanaians Must Must Apologize To Kwesi Nyantakyi” – Captain Smart

Ghanaian media personality, Captain Smart has also reacted to the painful exit of the Black Stars from the ongoing Afcon in Cameroon.

After 40-years of no African Cup trophy, Ghana was hoping to clinch the title this year by competing with the big boys, however, it turned out the Black Stars went running gdigdi.

After 3 games played, Ghana comes home with only one point and finishes 4th in Group C.

Captain Smart has urged Ghanaians to drop their heads in humiliation and apologize to former GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi.

The former Ghana Football Association President was suspended following an exposé by ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas which revealed that he took bribes to influence various football operations.

Ghana’s football is failing as a result of how Ghanaians and high-ranking officials treated Kwesi Nyantakyi in the aftermath of the expose.

Despite its limitations, he believes that football during the Kwesi Nyantakyi government was far superior to what is currently taking place.

He went on to say that the spirit that is following Kwesi Nyantakyi is dealing with all of the people who are responsible for his removal from all football activities.

Captain Smart went on to say that Kwesi Nyantakyi was being groomed to be the first African president of FIFA, but that opportunity was squandered due to the bad deeds of a few people.

All individuals responsible for Kwesi Nyantakyi’s difficulties, according to the broadcaster, will continue to suffer until the best thing is done, which is to apologize to him.

His remark comes in the wake of Blackstar’s dismal performance in the current 2021 AFCON, which saw them eliminated at the group stage.
